                                               LESSON POLICY

                                          Revised September 2018

Lesson times are standing appointments; a student’s lesson time is reserved for only them each week, and it is their responsibility to attend. Because specific times are set aside for specific students, a student who does not attend a lesson will simply miss the benefit of that lesson. The monthly tuition reserves the students time on the calendar. There will be no makeup times. If the Teacher Must Cancel Lessons, tuition may be prorated.  Holidays and snow days that fall on lesson days will also be prorated.

If payment is not received by the last lesson of the month… no lesson will be given and that students reserved time will be forfeited.
Should something come up where you cannot financially fulfill your commitment to your lessons, advanced notice and open, ongoing communication is appreciated and encouraged!
The lesson structure at The Warwick School of Music is required monthly attendance. Upon sign up, you should expect to attend lessons every week at the designated agreed time. The teacher will be available for a one-on-one lesson for either 1/2 hour or for 1 hour. Please provide three weeks notice if lessons will be discontinued.

Summer policy for July and August
Due to the often busy summer months the Warwick School of Music will prorate lessons during July and August per lesson as an option to students. Example: if a student decides to receive 2 lessons in July the tuition will be $68.00 for the month. Hopefully this will allow the student to maintain continuity in instruction.

The Warwick School of Music accepts Checks, Cash, and Credit/Debit (online payment). Invoices are sent out the first week of each Month.
